What is FCA?

FCA stands for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. At the middle school level, we are an inclusive club that meets at least twice a month to discuss Bible-based principles and participate in games and activities.

FCA'S Vision, Mission, and Values:

VISION - To see the world transformed by Jesus Christ through the influence of coaches and athletes.

MISSION - To lead every coach and athlete into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ and His church.

VALUES - Our relationships will demonstrate steadfast commitment to Jesus Christ and His Word through Integrity, Serving, Teamwork and Excellence.

    • Integrity - We will demonstrate Christ-like wholeness, privately and publicly. (Proverbs 11:3)
    • Serving - We will model Jesus’ example of serving. (John 13:1-17)
    • Teamwork- We will express our unity in Christ in all our relationships. (Philippians 2:1-4)
    • Excellence - We will honor and glorify God in all we do. (Colossians 3:23-24)

SNACKS!

An important part of our meetings is snack time! However, we need your help! Each year, parents and students have generously donated snacks for each meeting to accommodate our ravenous students after school. Each meeting, it is nice to have at least 1 to 2 volunteers bring in snacks. We have approximately 30-40 students in regular attendance, and prefer nut-free items to help out our students with allergies. (Favorites include, but are not limited to, cheese balls, popcorn, fruit snacks, Oreos, pretzels, etc.)

If you can help us, please click on the icon to the left to go to the Sign-Up Genius to sign up for a week. You will get an email reminder 2 days beforehand, and our snack coordinators will send a memo home with your students as well.

Your student can drop off snacks during homeroom, or you can drop them off in the office the day of the meeting.

THANK YOU!!!
